Rodney Smith Jr. On Raising Men, Women, And The American Spirit

Rodney Smith Jr. On Raising Men, Women, And The American Spirit

Rodney Smith Jr. came to the US from Bermuda over 15 years ago and is known for his lawn mowing business, Raising Men Lawn Care Service.

How much of our country have you traveled to? How many places have you made it a point to meet new people, learn their stories, and offer them support? How many times have you told yourself you have nothing to offer, or that you can’t afford to support other people, or that you don’t have time to travel?

If these questions trigger you, that’s because deep down you want to do that traveling and be that person, and haven’t figured out how to – yet. But don’t worry. It’s not too late. You can still hop in your car and travel to 48 states. You can still get to an airport and fly to Alaska and Hawaii, too, just like Rodney Smith Jr has done.

And if you’re exceptionally awesome like Rodney, you can make more than memories on your trips – you can create a legacy of impact and inspiration.

We know the media and all your social media sites keep telling you to stay home and be afraid. We know there is a movement to make Americans believe we are each other’s enemies and victims.

And we know that’s all a bunch of bull crap. But don’t take our word for it.

Listen to Rodney Smith Jr. talk about all the times he has traveled to every state by himself.

Listen as he talks about how he’s used a lawn mower in each of those states, to raise money for charitable causes, inspire youth to give back to their communities, provide a service to people who need help, and build relationships between law enforcement officers and their communities.

Those are just some of the highlights of his achievements, by the way.

Want to know the best part of this story? Rodney is not even a full-fledged American citizen yet.

Even though he’s faced one struggle after another to convince this government to grant him citizenship, Rodney remains determined to stay the course and continue growing his good work in the process.

If a young man like Rodney can see that this country and its people are worthy of such an effort, why can’t we all? If someone like Rodney believes in the American Spirit because he’s seen it and felt it and inspired it, why don’t Americans who have not been through what he has, also believe in it?

Listen in as Rodney Smith Jr. talks about how he started Raising Men Lawn Care and how it expanded to Raising Women Lawn Care, too. Pay attention to his message and his voice. And show him some support – whether it’s a few dollars or more.
